Tasting Notes
Moran Manor is a small family-owned vineyard, dedicated to a limited production of high-quality, blended red wines. We are located at the footof Mt. St. Helena in Knights Valley -- famous for its terroir of rocky, volcanic soil and its hot days and cool nights, which provide us with perfect growing conditions for red grapes. Our Estate vineyard is planted with the premier varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Anagram is our hand-crafted classic blend.
Anagram 2006 (750ml)
Color: Cherry red with lilac tones.
Aroma: Leading with an intense bouquet of Bing cherries, the wine is spectacularly intense, boasting aromas of lavender and graphite.
Taste: Rich and generous in the mouth, the wine displays flavors of vanilla and coffee beans, huckleberry, black licorice, Sequoia spice and dark chocolate. The rich palate is full-bodied and presents ripe and supple tannins for a lingering finish. The 2006 Anagram classic red blend is fruit forward, ready to drink now and should age well for the next decade.

Anagram 2005 (750ml)
Color: Intense, dark reddish-purple.
Aroma: A bouquet of black cherry fills the nose, while delicate vanilla and spice from the oak and layers of complexity to discover and enjoy.
Taste: After a taste, the palate is immediately coated in a smooth and velvety texture, followed by a bold structure that is the backbone of this distinct blend. The finish is filled with anise and leather flavors, which seem to linger on the palate indefinitely, making this wine enjoyable even after the last sip is taken. Decant and drink now or put it in your cellar for enjoyment in years to come.

Anagram 2004 (750ml)
Color: Dark ruby-red with a purple hue.
Aroma: A stunning floral nose permeates this wine with overlapping and subtle aromas of lavender and leather adding to its complexity.
Taste: Powerful and flavorful wine with concentrated and stunning aromas. The oak barrels used for aging have added creamy coconut and vanilla flavors to such red fruit flavors as jammy black cherry and rasberry. The structure of this wine is perfectly balanced, giving it a multifaceted texture to play upon the palate. While fabulous now, it has great aging potential.

Anagram 2003 (750ml) SOLD OUT
Color: Deep red with a lavender hue.
Aroma: Interesting layers of subtle rosemary and spice cedar.
Taste: Dark fruit flavors of black currant and wild huckleberries on delivery with rich flavors permeating the blend, including anise, soy and tar. It finishes with firm, ripe tannins laced with chocolate. Anagram 2003 has a powerful structure that makes it perfect to drink now but with great age-ability for future enjoyment as well.
